CEU Vendor Guidelines & Related Issues

The following procedural guidelines are required for all Florida Certified Investigator continuing education training opportunities.
  1. Provider must obtain prior approval of offering by written request and include date, times, and location of event.
  2. All requests must include speaker biographical information.
  3. All requests must include topic content outline.
  4. Florida Certified Investigators seeking CEU credit for attendance are required to sign-in on approved form at conclusion of offering.
  5. Provider must forward Sign-In sheets post offering to the address above.
  6. CEU credit category must be identified: Professional Conduct and Ethics;Statutory Compliance; Investigative Legal Issues; Investigative Techniques.
  7. One (1) CEU is equivalent to fifty (50) minutes of educational instruction.
